The Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) put the brakes on the Boston Celtics' unbeaten home run, the No. 1 overall winning percentage team.

Denver beat Boston 102-100 in the 2023-24 NBA regular league away game at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on the 20th, thanks to the performances of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, who scored 69 points.

With the victory, Denver had its 29th win (14 losses) of the season, narrowing the gap to two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves (30 wins and 11 losses), who are leading the Western Conference.

On the other hand, Boston (32 wins and 10 losses), which had won 20 consecutive home games since the opening of the season, suffered its first loss at home, and narrowed its gap to 3.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks (28 wins and 13 losses), who finished second in the Eastern Conference.

In Denver, Murray scored 35 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, and Jokic scored 34 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists.

Boston's three players, Jason Tatum (22 points), Derek White (24 points), and Kristaps Porzingis (21 points), scored more than 20 points, but Jaylen Brown scored only 13 points due to poor shooting accuracy.

With the two teams in a fierce battle, the game was decided at the end of the fourth quarter.

Denver, which was leading 95-91, allowed a reversal by giving up seven consecutive points, but Jokic turned the tide to 99-98 with two consecutive two-pointers.

Later, as Denver went on a 101-98 run on Michael Porter Jr.'s two-pointer, Boston also caught up by a point with Tatum's dunk with 1:41 left.

Denver added one point on Aaron Gordon's free throw 17 seconds before the end, but it couldn't guarantee a win. 스포츠토토

Boston left Tatum with the final right to attack after requesting two operational times, but Tatum's middle shot turned away the rim. As Murray grabbed the rebound, Denver's victory was confirmed.
