‘Chairman Koo Bon-moo’s alcohol’ is released... The Rolex watch is given to the owner by Koo Kwang-mo, the owner of professional baseball team LG (right in the photo above), receiving a 28-year-old congratulatory note for the championship from general manager Cha Myeong-seok at the 'LG Twins 2023 Korean Series Integrated Championship Commemoration Ceremony' held at LG Science Park in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 17th. “Now LG fans will no longer remember the number 1994, but 2023. “I hope that by increasing this number of joys, today’s proud members will be forever remembered in the hearts of fans.”

Koo Kwang-mo, owner of the LG professional baseball team, attended the integrated championship celebration event held at LG Science Park in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 17th and raised a glass containing 'Awamori', a traditional Japanese Okinawa soju. Then, about 160 people who attended the event, including LG players and affiliate officials, cheered.

This awamori was a drink that Koo Bon-moo, the first owner of LG, prepared after winning the Korean Series in 1994, saying, 'Let's toast to the next championship.' However, LG did not win the championship for the next 28 years, so it was left to rest at LG Champions Park (2nd team training ground) in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Then, LG finally saw the light of day when it won the Korean Series this year.

The opening of Suldok was handled by LG general manager Cha Myeong-seok. Team owner Koo Kwang-mo, who received a drink from Manager Cha, said, “This is the first time in my life that I have received so many congratulations. “From heaven, the late Chairman Koo Bon-moo will be looking at this place with joy more than anyone else,” he said.
Koo Bon-moo, the first team owner who passed away in 2018, bought a Rolex watch worth 80 million won at the time on his way back from an overseas business trip in 1998, saying, "I will give it as a gift to the Korean Series MVP the next time LG wins." As LG captain Oh Ji-hwan won the MVP of this year's Korean Series, this watch also found its owner after 25 years.

Oh Ji-hwan, who received the watch that day, said, “This watch is a keepsake of the previous chairman, so I don’t think I can wear it. He returned the watch to the club, saying, “It would be nice to display it in the history room so that many people can see it.” Club owner Koo Kwang-mo said, “I am grateful to the captain (Oh Ji-hwan) for his heart. “With that intention in mind, the watch will be displayed under the name ‘Korean Series MVP, Captain Oh Ji-hwan,’” he said. Instead, he presented Oh Ji-hwan with the latest Rolex watch.

Oh Ji-hwan said, “I took several pictures of the watch I returned to the club to commemorate it,” and added, “The club owner gave me the most recent new product as a gift. “It’s an expensive item, so I wonder if I should keep it at home, but it’s a gift from the club owner to ‘wear it,’ so I’m going to wear it on a meaningful day.”  카지노사이트
