Korean Air won the set score 3-0 (26-24 25-2229-27) in the sixth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League against KEPCO at Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon on the 27th.

Korean Air, which added three points, scored 64 points, five points ahead of Woori Card (59 points). Although the Korean Air had two more matches than Woori Card, it managed to widen its gap in points for now. At the same time, its seven-game winning streak has given momentum to its race to win the championship for four consecutive seasons.

Apogit Spiker Murad started and scored 22 points with a 56 percent attack success rate to lead the victory.  토토사이트 추천

Another factor in the victory was the stability of the two outside heaters. Two outside heaters, Jung Ji-seok and Kwak Seung-seok, the "Seokseok Duo" that Korean Air boasts, showed excellent skills in offense and defense, leading the team to consecutive wins.

Jung, who is still not 100 percent physically fit due to back injury, has recently improved his physical condition and is recovering his performance. He also scored a whopping nine points in the first set alone, showing his stellar performance. Notably, his consecutive serve aces turned the tables on his team 21-20 when he was trailing 19-20 in the first set. Kwak Seung-seok then turned Seo Jae-deok's attack around, and Jung Ji-seok scored consecutive points with a back attack and a witty attack to end the set.

In the second set as well, Jung displayed stellar performance at a critical moment. When the opponent team had a close lead of 22-21, he made a two-point gap through quick direct attack. In the last minute, he even handled Kwak's high ball to make set point, which contributed to his victory.

Jung's serve was also threatening in the third set. He succeeded in serve ace, which gave him the lead at 11-11, setting the record for most points scored in serve this season. Jung suffered a bleeding finger midway through the set, but continued his play without difficulty. He also devastated the receiving line with his sharp and fast serve in the second half of the third set, spearheading the victory.

Jung scored 18 points, including four serves, to set his personal record for this season. He is clearly boosting his performance ahead of the spring volleyball season.

Kwak contributed by playing defense and blocking. At a critical moment, he recorded three blocks, reversing his commitment to the Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO). Although he struggled with Lim Sung-jin's serve at the end of the third set, he played the role of an altoran with stable defense and connection.

Middle blocker Kim Min-jae scored 10 points with an overwhelming fastball under the help of Han, and at the end, he helped the victory with a block that turned Thais' attack around.

On the other hand, Korea Electric Power Corp. was completely behind in the power struggle with Korean Air. Coach Kwon Young-min said before the game, "You have to shake the receiving through the serve," but he had a difficult game as he failed to shake Korean Air's receiving line.
