Kim Yeon-kyung's dream of winning the championship for the first time in 15 years has gone a little far.

Heungkuk Life lost the first round of the Dodram V-League Women's Post Season PS championship match against Hyundai Engineering & Construction held at Suwon Gymnasium in Gyeonggi Province on the 28th with a set score of 2 to 3 25-18 25-14 20-25 20-25 14-16. The team started its five-game championship with a loss.

It is a shocking reverse sweep. Heungkuk Life won the first two sets, but suffered upset loss as it collapsed from the third set.

This is largely due to the heavy physical burden. Heungkuk Life Insurance, which finished second in the regular league, played all three games against Jeong Kwan-jang in the two-win playoff of the three games. After finishing the third game of PO on the 26th, he only had two days off and started the championship game.

Heungkuk Life Insurance seemed to be leading the game. Hyundai Engineering & Construction, which went straight to the championship game after ranking No. 1 in the regular league, took a 12-day break, and thus lost sense of play.

However, Heungkuk Life Insurance seemed tired from the third set, and Hyundai E&C regained its performance. In the end, Hyundai E&C, which had dominated the third set, won the game.

Heungkuk Life Insurance must play with physical burden in the remaining matches. However, since the winning team in the first round of women's championship decisions has a chance of winning 52.95 percent No. 17 and No. 9, which is just over half, there is a good chance that a miracle will happen.

Heungkuk Life Insurance was the victim of the opposite case last season. Heungkuk Life Insurance lost to Korea Expressway Corporation, which started with PO, after a close game in the fifth round, and missed the title. It won the first and second rounds, but suffered a reverse sweep, losing from the third round.

Kim Yeon-koung, who was agonizing over retirement at the time, ultimately decided to extend her current career in order to win the title. She became the first free agent FA after the end of the season, and continued her challenge to win the title by staying at Heungkuk Life Insurance.

However, she failed to win the championship due to missing the top spot in the regular season. Kim's last championship was in the 2006-2007 season. Now, she has to risk her life and death to win the championship title for the first time in 15 years since the 2008-2009 season before advancing to the Japanese stage.

In the first round match on the day, she played in just two days, and she could have felt exhausted. However, Kim scored 23 points, the most in her team, and displayed her fighting spirit with a 42.55 percent success rate. "I thought Kim Yeon-koung would have a hard time physically, but she didn't. I thought she was amazing," Yang Hyo-jin Hyundai Engineering & Construction said.

Nevertheless, Heungkuk Life missed the victory. "There seemed to be a lot of disappointing choices at the critical moment," said Coach Marcello Avon Danza of Heungkuk Life Insurance. "The start was good, but the pressure on the serve was reduced, and the offense did not end well."  안전 토토사이트

Heungkuk Life Insurance will play the second round of the championship decision against Hyundai Engineering & Construction at the same place at 7 p.m. on the 30th. It remains to be seen whether Kim Yeon-koung's challenge to win the championship will move further away or start from the ground up again.
