Kim Ha-sung San Diego Padres is showing off his "big gun instinct" every day.

Kim Ha-sung hit his ninth home run of the season in an away game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2023 U.S. Major League Baseball at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the 30th Korea time.

With this home run, Kim Ha-sung hit a personal record of four home runs in June. Since Kim Ha-sung entered the Major League, he has hit three home runs in April, September last year, and May this year, but four are the first.

Kim Ha-sung, who started as the seventh batter and second baseman on the day, took the first and third base chances in his first at-bat in the top of the second inning when he faced 0-0. Against Pittsburgh starter Lewis Ortiz, Kim Ha-sung hit a slider and scored an RBI with a sacrifice fly.

San Diego opened the door with Kim Ha-sung's RBI, and soon after, Trent Grisham hit a two-run shot over the right fence to make it 3-0.

Kim Ha-sung's home run hit his second at-bat in the top of the fourth inning. When Ortiz's 97.3 mph four-seam fastball was driven to the center, he swung his bat sharply to create a solo home run over the left fence. His batting speed was 104.7 miles 168.4 kilometers.

San Diego ran away 4-0, and although starter Joe Musgrove has since given up two runs, the victory has come closer and closer as he defended the mound for six innings.

Kim Ha-sung came out as the leadoff hitter in the third at-bat in the top of the sixth inning and stepped down with a ground ball to shortstop, but continued his hitting sense by hitting a double to left field after a full count match with relief pitcher Angel Fernando in the top of the eighth inning.

However, San Diego failed to protect Kim Ha-sung's home run. Tim Hill, who pitched as a relief pitcher in the bottom of the seventh inning, gave up a walk and a hit, putting him on the verge of 1 out, 2nd and 3rd base, and allowed a 4-4 tie as he gave up 2 runs due to an infield grounder and throwing error.

Pittsburgh, which gained momentum, succeeded in reversing the game 5-4 as Henry Davis hit a timely hit to the right.

Nevertheless, Kim Ha-sung hit a double in the top of the eighth inning to encourage the team's batting line to the end, but no follow-up hit occurred. San Diego's top batters, leading to Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Manny Machado, came out in the top of the last ninth inning, but they also failed to score, falling into a swamp of five consecutive losses.  토토

Although the team lost, Kim Ha-sung performed the most with two hits one home run and two RBIs in three at-bats, and his season batting average also rose from 0.253 to 0.258.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh's Bae Ji-hwan also started the day, but failed to shake off his poor batting performance. Bae Ji-hwan was replaced by a pinch hitter after failing to enter his third at-bat after no hits in two at-bats. As a result, Bae Ji-hwan, who has been silent with no hits in 10 consecutive games, is experiencing the worst slump with his season's batting average falling to 0.237 points.
