"Long hitter king" Jung Chan-min (CJ) achieved his second win of the KPGA Korean Tour season and his second career victory with a great reversal.

Jung Chan-min won the second extension of the final day of the 2023 Korean Tour Golf Zone-Doray Open (total prize money of 700 million won) at Seonsan Country Club (par 72, 7139 yards) in Gumi Golf Zone County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, beating Kang Kyung-nam (Daesun Jo-jo), who only had par.

Jung Chan-min, who debuted on the tour last year, reported his first win at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open in May this year and rose to the top again in six months, becoming the second multiple winner of the season after Ko Woon-taek (Daebo Construction, 3 wins).

Jung Chan-min, who showed off a terrifying long ball of over 350 yards, announced his splendid return with the victory after returning to September after resting for two months due to a shoulder injury.

Jeong Chan-min, who started the game tied for fifth place, three shots behind the leader, tied for one eagle, six birdies and one bogey for a 7-under 65 and recorded a total of 21-under 267 in the final four rounds, alongside Kang Kyung-nam, who reduced six strokes.

Kang Kyung-nam, who missed the 1.8m birdie putt on the 18th hole (par 5) and the 2m birdie putt in the first extension, missed his 12th win in total.

At the KLPGA Tour S-Oil Championship (total prize money of 900 million won), which ended at the Elysian Jeju Country Club (par 72, 6,717 yards), the final fourth round was suspended twice due to heavy rain and finally canceled, and the third-round leader Sung Yu-jin (Hanwha Q Cell) won the lucky title.

Sung Yu-jin won his second title of the season and third in his career since winning the Doosan Match Play Championship in May.

Sung Yu-jin, who started the fourth round with a 12-under 204 shot to lead by one shot, seemed to be moving away from the championship by losing five strokes with four bogeys, one double bogey and one birdie in the first half alone, but the fourth round was canceled due to heavy rain from the start of the game, so she collected 162 million won in prize money. Kim Jae-hee (Medi Hill), who had dreamed of winning her first victory in her debut by reducing three shots by the first half of the day, had to swallow her disappointment by tying with Lee Ye-won (KB Financial Group) for second place.

Lee Ye-won (1.412,184,197 won), who prematurely confirmed the prize money king regardless of the results of the final SK Shielders and SK Telecom Championship (winning prize money of 200 million won) after Park Ji-young (Korea Land Trust) withdrew from the second round due to a knee injury, added 42 points to the grand prize and accumulated 651 points, widening the gap with second-place Im Jin-hee (Angang Construction, 558 points) by more than 70 points.
