England striker Harry Kane (30-Bayern Munich), a former teammate of Son Heung-min and Kim Min-jae, is in the midst of one of the most remarkable scoring sprees on the European stage.

Kane scored a brace to lead Bayern Munich to a 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in their 2023-2024 European Champions League (UCL) group stage fourth-leg tie at the Allianz Arena in Bavaria, Germany, on Sept. 9 (ET).

It was Kane's third consecutive multi-goal game, including a hat-trick in cup competitions. In all, Kane has scored 19 goals in 15 appearances this season, including 15 in 10 league games and four in four Champions League matches.

That's a staggering pace of goals per game, averaging a goal every 48 minutes (44 minutes in the league). Only Lionel Messi (now at Inter), Cristiano Ronaldo (Alnasr), Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona), and last season's treble winner Elling Holland (Man City) can boast such a pace in European soccer. 안전토토사이트

Lewandowski, "Kane's Munich senior," who holds the Bundesliga record for most goals in a single season (41), has been in a historic slump this season. He's scored just six goals in 13 games.

The Bundesliga's official website called "Super Kane" the best No. 9 striker in the world. "Every goal he scores makes the club record (€100 million) set by Munich look cheap," it wrote.

The Bundesliga's official website notes that Kane is the first player to score 15 or more goals in the first 10 rounds since Gerd Müller in 1968-1969, and calculates that at his current scoring pace, he could reach 64 goals.

Realistically, 64 goals in a single season is nearly impossible. But Kane is in the best form of his career, with three hat-tricks already in the league. Let's not forget that Kane left the EPL for the first time this season to join the Bundesliga.
