Yeo Jun-seok 21, Gonzaga is expected to play as a small forward and power forward in his debut season in the NCAA basketball first division.

In an interview with the U.S. daily Spokesman Review, Gonzaga University's basketball team coach Mark Pugh 61 said, "Yeo Jun-seok is putting a lot of effort into it. "My coaches and I have been making 3 small forward and 4 power forward move around," he said, adding that he is making tactical detailed adjustments as a forward.

The Spokesman review is a Washington state newspaper in the United States where Gonzaga University is located. Yeo Jun-seok is expected to use shooting guards/small forwards ahead of the opening of the 2023-24 NCAA Division I, with Dan DiCau 45 expecting "wing resources to compete for less than 10 minutes of playing time in the rotation."

Dan Diwu was a superstar who shone as the NCAA Division I best 5 and West Coast Conference WCC MVP during his time in Gonzaga. After completing his professional career with 300 NBA regular season appearances in 2002-2008, he appeared on national broadcasters CBS and sports channel ESPN as an American college basketball expert.

However, manager Mark Pugh said, "Ye Jun-seok is big and strong. "If you go near the rim, there are some finishing skills which can work in the U.S. college basketball first division," he said, expressing his intention to use his barefoot height of 203 centimeters and playing style more closely under the basket than a tall swingman.

At the 2021 FIBA U-19 World Cup, Yeo Jun-seok participated as a member of Yongsan High School, he averaged 25.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 2.1 steals while South Korea finished 15th.

The top scorer and player contribution also topped the list, becoming the first Korean to win two individual titles in the U-19 Basketball World Cup. Second place in rebounds per game and joint fifth place in steals were among the top five in four categories.

Coach Mark Pugh also expressed satisfaction that Yeo Jun-seok was positively incorporating into Gonzaga University's basketball team tactics, saying, "Even though he fought against difficult language barriers, he began to understand to some extent what the coaches expected from defense and attack."

Yeo Jun-seok joined Gonzaga after the list registration period, and as a freshman, he only trained with the basketball team. It is officially presented on the U.S. stage through the 2023-24 NCAA Division I, which will participate as a second grader.

According to the "Spokesman Review," the amount of "likes" received by Yeo Jun-seok's announcement post in January 2023 was so large that it was tied for first place in the official SNS history of Gonzaga University's basketball team along with Chet Holmgrin 21, Oklahoma City Thunder.

Chet Holmgran was a four-time U-19 World Cup MVP and U.S. High School Player of the Year two years ago. Based on the 2021-22 Gonzaga era, who was selected as the best 5 and defensive king of the NCAA Division I WCC, he received the first round of the NBA Rookie Draft second overall.

Gonzaga is a strong team that has won 28 regular season titles and 21 playoffs since 1966 in the WCC. It was ranked 11th in the second national ranking of 2023-24 college basketball updated by AP, a news agency recognized as the most prestigious media in the United States. 사설토토

The Spokesman Review also introduced a positive atmosphere outside the game surrounding the player this season, saying Gonzaga University also knows that "Yeo Jun-seok is a highly popular basketball star in Korea."
