The main players who led NC Dinos' fall drama last year were compensated for this year's salary increase.

The NC Dinosaurs said on Monday that they have signed all of their annual salary contracts with 69 players who are eligible for renewal. Infielder Seo Ho-cheol and right-handed pitcher Ryu Jin-wook recorded the highest rate of increase in the fielders and pitchers respectively, and will receive annual salary of hundreds of millions of dollars for the first time.

Seo Ho-cheol will receive 120 million won, 75 million won (167 percent) more than last year, and Ryu Jin-wook will receive 165 million won, up 90 million won (120 percent).

Kim Joo-won (160 million won), a national shortstop with a 78% increase rate (70 million won), Kim Si-hoon and Ha Joon-young (more than 110 million won) also enjoyed their first annual salary of 100 million won.

In addition, Lee Yong-joon (91% increase rate, 67 million won per year), Kwon Hee-dong (67%·150 million won), and Shin Min-hyuk (33%·180 million won) also received good reviews.

The team's highest salary is left-handed bullpen pitcher Kim Young-kyu. He will receive 225 million won this year, up 85 million won, or 61 percent.

Meanwhile, veteran bullpen Shim Chang-min, who can't avoid a slump, saw his annual salary cut from 150 million won to 85 million won.
