First round 2 under par play delayed 3 hours due to fog

So Yeon Yoo's tee shot.

"I think this is the first time I've ever started with an eagle-birdie. Every time I come to this tournament, I get excited."

Once ranked as high as No. 1 in the world, South Korea's So Yeon Yoo, 33, 성인웹툰 has struggled mightily on the U.S. Women's Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour this year.

She has dropped to 155th on the money list.

In eight tournaments, she has only made two cuts.

Yoo, who has six wins, including two majors, and more than $12 million in career earnings, has fallen off a cliff because her shot accuracy, which was among the best on the tour, has faltered significantly.

She ranks 124th on the LPGA Tour in fairway stroke percentage off the tee (68.25%) and 128th in iron shot greens in regulation (63.33%).

She never broke 60 and her lowest round was 2-under par.

Yoo So-yeon shot a 2-under 70 in the first round of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour's Haiwon Resort Women's Open (total prize money of 800 million won) on Sunday at Haiwon Country Club (Par 72) in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do.

With the first round starting three hours late due to fog, more than half the field did not complete 18 holes and the standings could change, but Yoo ended the first day just one stroke behind the co-leaders.

"I always feel confident on this course," said Yoo, who enters round two in a position to make a run at the title, "especially since it's a course where iron shots are important, and my strength is iron shots."

It's no surprise that Yoo has won this event twice in 11 editions dating back to last year.

Yoo and Lim are the only two players to have won the event twice.

Starting on the 10th hole (par-4), Yoo's tee shot on the first hole landed in the rough, but her second shot, a 50-degree wedge with 113 yards left, went into the hole for a shot eagle.

She followed that up with a birdie on the 11th (par-4) with a spectacular wedge that landed beside the hole, cutting her deficit to three strokes after just two holes.

Yoo said she had eagled the first hole of the match before, but she couldn't remember ever making a birdie after an eagle.

She followed that up with two more birdies and three bogeys. She was disappointed to lose a stroke on the back nine (par-4) when her third shot from a not-so-difficult spot went too long.

"It was disappointing to not finish well after a good start," Yoo said, but added, "Two under par is fine. 일본야동 I was a little surprised that the other players didn't drop more strokes than I expected."

"I started working on my driver shot in 2016, but I took it too far," Yoo said of her struggles this year.

"When my driver swing got a little better, I focused too much on my driver shot and other parts of my game got worse," she said. "Even today, I missed my driver from the first hole and didn't hit it confidently until the end."

Yoo hopes that the tournament will be a way to break out of her slump.

"The Korean tournament has a refreshing effect because I get support from my family, relatives, and friends," he said.

Despite being in a terrible slump, Yoo is also determined to keep going.

"I'm obsessed with golf. I practice a lot, so I automatically lose weight," she says, adding that her weight hasn't changed and she's gained more muscle mass.

"Even if I try to reduce the amount of practice to distance myself from golf, it doesn't work," she added.

"I've never been this bad since I started playing golf," she said, adding that she'll use it as a time to get to know herself better.

Despite the increasing number of retirements around her, Yoo says, "I think I'll play golf until it's fun, but it's still fun. Even if I can't hit it, it's fun," she laughs.

When asked about her close senior and teammate Park In-bee's nomination for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athletes' Commissioner, Yoo said, "I think she's a person I respect humanly, and I think she deserves to be." "As a golfer, I expect her to play a big role in helping golf survive as an Olympic sport," she said.

Choi Eun-woo and Lee Ji-young finished at 3-under par 69 to occupy the top row of the leaderboard.

Park Min-ji and Im Jin-hee, who are battling for their third win of the season, 한국야동 shot 1-under 71.
