Looking to return after 13 months
Los Angeles Dodgers Walker Buehler, who underwent Tommy John surgery last year to repair a torn ligament in his elbow, threw to batters for the first time since the procedure.
Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times wrote on social media on Tuesday (June 10), 성인웹툰 "A crowd watched Buehler's simulated game in the dugout. It was the first time he had faced hitters since Tommy John surgery."
After feeling discomfort in his elbow in June of last year, Buehler ended up on the operating table two months later, undergoing his second Tommy John surgery since 2015.
It takes 12 to 18 months to return to play after surgery. After a quick recovery, Buehler is making good progress in his rehab, throwing bullpen pitches over the past five days. If he returns to the big leagues in September, it will be his first time on the mound in 13 months.

Buehler made his big league debut in a Dodgers uniform in 2017 and broke into the starting rotation the following year, winning eight games.
A year later, Buehler was a legitimate starter with a 14-4 record and a 3.26 ERA, and in 2021, he had a career-high season with a 16-4 record and a 2.47 ERA.
