A new agreement has been formed between Governor Charlie Crist and the Seminole Indian Tribe, with controversy still swirling over casino gambling growth in Florida.Governor Christ said the agreement would add more than $1 billion to the national treasury over the next two years, a big consideration given current budget issues. Governor Christ also said the agreement could potentially create 45,000 new jobs.

The Florida House of Representatives approved the terms of a new gambling agreement on April 21, and the governor is pressing Congress to pass the proposal. The bill prohibits the Seminole family from offering card games such as baccarat and blackjack at Florida casinos, but gives them exclusive rights to operate slot machines in counties that do not yet have slot machines.

Under the terms of the plan, Paris oil businesses will be able to become more competitive by enabling longer hours and higher betting limits. Other slot machine licensees will receive a lower tax rate with minimum annual payment.

Representative Bill Galvano, the chair of the committee reviewing the convention, said they had found a "conservative approach, a very reasonable and unenlarged approach to gambling." So I believe that Members have been able to have a significant number of people supporting it." 온라인카지노

"We are considering getting money from the tribe without reducing the money coming in from our Paris mutuals," Galvano continued. "Investing in our economy and creating jobs without expanding the game in Florida is really challenging for us Paris mutual."
