Park Yoon-jung, coach of the women's national team, has taken the helm of the women's under-20 (U-20) national team.

Coach Park spent his career as a player at Seoul City Hall in the WK League, Chungbuk Sports Toto (currently Sejong Sports Toto), and Albirex Niigata in Japan, and took the path of a leader after retirement in 2013.

He started as a coach at Yeoju University in 2016, served as a coach at Pohang Girls' High School, and served as a full-time leader of the Korea Football Association from 2019. At this time, he coached the women's U-17 and U-20 national teams and experienced the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

Since December last year, he has served as a coach for the women's A team led by head coach Colin Bell and also participated in the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Born in 1989, Park Yoon-jung, who is 34 years old, became the third female national team coach and the youngest female national team head coach after Hwang In-sun (former U-20 national team) and Kim Eun-jung (current U-17 national team). Coach Ko Hyun-bok, former leader of the Korea Football Association, goalkeeper coach Kim Dae-hwan, and physical coach Lee Geo-sung will assist coach Park.

The national team, newly led by head coach Park, aims to participate in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia in September next year. In order to participate in the World Cup, she must finish in the top three at the AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup in Uzbekistan in March next year. 스포츠토토

The national team is scheduled to hold its first convocation training at Paju NFC from the 6th to the 9th. Thirty-one players under the age of 19 were selected for the first convocation list, including Bae Ye-bin (Wideok University), who was on the final list for the 2023 Women's World Cup, and Kim Se-yeon (Chungju Yeseong Girls' High School), who recently participated in the preliminary round for the Paris Olympics.

After that, the team will be reduced to 22 players, reconvened on the 24th, and will hold off-season training in Uzbekistan until the 4th of next month. It will also play two friendly matches against the Uzbek women's U-20 team on November 30 and December 3.
