Which major league team will have Lee Jung-hoo?

Lee Jung-hoo's original team, Kiwoom Heroes, officially announced on the 4th that Lee Jung-hoo's Major League posting notice will be made. Once he is posted locally, he will be free to negotiate with 30 major league teams for the next 30 days.

Lee announced his desire to play in the major leagues earlier this season. After the 2023 season, Lee will be eligible to go overseas through the posting system.

The club respected his decision and pledged to support him. Lee had an early exit after undergoing surgery for an ankle injury late in the season, but he came to bat in the final home game of the season to say goodbye to his adoring home fans.

Kiwoom submitted documents related to the postings, including Lee's medical records, to the KBO on March 22, and the KBO requested a public announcement from the MLB office on March 24. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., the posting notice for Lee will be made on the 4th of this month. 카지노사이트가이드

If Lee's entry into the major leagues is confirmed, Kiwoom will become the fourth major league team to produce a player through the posting system after Kang Jeong-ho, Park Byung-ho, and Kim Ha-seong. "We support Lee Jung-hoo's future as he takes on the challenge of a bigger stage," said Kiwoom President Ko Hyung-wook.

After graduating from Whimun High School and joining the club as the first overall pick in the 2017 rookie draft, Lee distinguished himself in his debut season, earning Rookie of the Year honors. With steep growth in both offense and defense, he won the Golden Glove for five consecutive seasons from 2018 to 2022, and was named MVP in 2022 after winning five batting titles, including batting average, most hits, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and RBI.

In his seven seasons in the KBO, Lee has played in 884 games with 3476 hits, 1181 runs, 65 home runs, 515 RBIs, 581 runs scored, 69 doubles, and a 3.34 slugging percentage.
