Now celebrating its 13th anniversary, the event will be held for five days at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

American Airlines will work with the USO to send these honored guests and their families to Las Vegas over the long holiday weekend, while MGM Resorts offers free accommodation, meals, entertainment, and other amenities.

As in previous years, hundreds of MGM Resort employees and other sponsors will gather to greet the group during a special "wall of thanks" welcome procession in Mandalay Bay.

"We are deeply grateful for the dedication and sacrifice that soldiers and their families have continued to make for our country," said Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts. "In recognition of their courage and dedication, we are honored to offer a global guest experience as a tribute to these amazing heroes."

Salutes to the troops are held throughout Las Vegas and southern Nevada, including welcome dinners, tours of Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon, visits to the Shark Reef Aquarium in Mandalay Bay, and visits to Luxor's Blueman Group.

MGM Resorts is dedicated to supporting military members and their families throughout the year, including actively recruiting and hiring military men and women. The company ranked top 25 on Military Times' 2022 'Veteran: Employees' list and is a proud member of the Peteran Job Mission, a coalition of companies aiming to deploy 1 million U.S. military members and veterans to meaningful and rewarding jobs.
