The Southend-on-Sea trolleybus system once served the town of Southend-on-Sea, in Essex, England. Opened on 16 October 1925 (1925-10-16), it gradually replaced Southend-on-Sea Corporation Tramways.

By the standards of the various now-defunct trolleybus systems in the United Kingdom, the Southend system was a moderately sized one, with a total of 4 routes, and a maximum fleet of 34 trolleybuses. The fleet included the only trolleybus built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company. which was sold to the Corporation after it had been exhibited at the London Commercial Motor Show in 1933. The system was closed relatively early, on 28 October 1954 (1954-10-28).

None of the former Southend trolleybuses is recorded as having been preserved.
