The trochadi (τροχάδι) is a type of leather sandal that is produced and used exclusively in the island of Skyros, Greece, while its roots are claimed to lie deep in antiquity. The name comes from the Greek verb "τρέχω", which means to run. It is the responsibility of the father to make trochadia for his sons (in the past the trochadi was exclusively worn by men).

The continuous production of the trochadi is an example of how tradition and heritage survive through time.
