Treatise of Luís Fróis, S.J. (1585) on the contrast of the morals between Europe and Japan, (Tratado em que se contêm muito sucinta e abreviadamente algumas contradições e diferenças de costumes entre a gente de Europa e esta província de Japão), was written by Luís Fróis on the 16th century. In 1562, Fróis was sent as a missionary in Japan. He lived there for ten years and was an expert on Japanese culture.

This treatise compares the cultures of Europe and Japan. It discusses philosophy, religion, society, costoms and other aspect of differences.

It was written in Portuguese, later on translated into German, Japanese, Chinese and French.
