History and profile
The magazine was previously called Network and was published by the Railways of Australia Committee. Network was published at least as late as Oct-Nov-Dec 1990 (Vol. 27, No. 4)
Track & Signal was established in October 1996 and the first issue was the January-March 1997 issue. The magazine is published by the Australasian Railway Association (which includes New Zealand).
