Amanda Lear version
"I'll Miss You" is the title of Amanda Lear's cover version of I Santo California's "Torneró", originally recorded for her 1995 album Alter Ego. It replaces original Italian lyrics with English words, written by Amanda Lear herself and Helmuth Schmidt. The song was included on the 1998 album Back in Your Arms, which was mostly a collection of re-recorded hits plus some Alter Ego tracks, and later released as a promotional single.
In 2005 Amanda Lear recorded "I'll Miss You" again, this time with German-Spanish singer Manuel Sanchez, for his album Ambitious. That version, more up-tempo and dance-oriented, was later included also on Lear's 2005 compilation Amanda Lear Sings Evergreens, billed as the "Love Version".
