Thomas Chamberlain (born (1987-04-30)April 30, 1987 in Huddersfield, England) is a professional ice hockey goaltender formerly for Romford Raiders and Hull Stingrays in the British Elite Ice Hockey League. Now joined the Royal Marines.

Career

Chamberlain started playing roller hockey at a young age for the Wakefield Warriors Skater Hockey Club, where he won many honours such as the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire Association of Skater Hockey (YLASH) League Title, British Inline Skater Hockey Association (BiSHA) National Championships and the International Inline Skater Hockey Federation (iiSHF) European Championships. He also played for the YLASH regional team.

Chamberlain started playing ice hockey for the Bradford Bulldogs and quickly picked up the sport. When the Wakefield outfit split up, he had more time to concentrate on his ice hockey. He soon became Bradford's senior team first choice goalie, gaining a reputation as a very strong player and boasting impressive stats.

Chamberlain spent a season in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia, Canada where he played with the St. Margaret Bay Ducks in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League. He would only play for one season before returning to the UK.

Upon his return to the UK, friend and fellow hockey player, Luke Boothroyd, recommended Chamberlain to Rick Strachan, Boothroyd's coach at Hull Stingrays. Chamberlain had a trial at Hull and has been a member of the squad since then.
