Toimi Johannes Pitkänen (born May 23, 1928) is a Finnish rower who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics, in the 1956 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Kuhmalahti.

In 1952 participated with the Finnish boat in the coxed pairs competition and finished sixth.

Four years later he was a crew member of the Finnish boat which won the bronze medal in the coxed fours event. He was also part of the Finnish boat which was eliminated in the repechage of the coxless fours competition.

At the 1960 Games he won the bronze medal with his partner Veli Lehtelä in the coxless pairs event.

His last Olympic appearance was in 1964 when he and his partner Veli Lehtelä finished sixth in the coxless pairs competition.
