Tjakastad

Tjakastad is home to the Founder and President of the Progressive Youth Leaders Foundation, Justice Nyalunga , who e attended primary School at Maquba lower Primary school and completed his matric at Ensika Senior Secondary School. It is also home to the Chairperson of the South African Youth Development Forum, Mr Mcebo Zwane and District Chairperson of the African National Congress, Muzi Chirwa. Tjakastad has approximately 100,000 residents that have occupied the land. It is under the leadership of Chief Malaza. The place has four Primary and three Secondary Schools.
