Early life and Education
Coulibaly was born in Boré, Mali. He attended Prosper Kamara High School in Bamako and graduated in 1971. He studied at Université Laval in Montréal, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics in 1977. Later, he went to graduate school at Purdue University, receiving an M.S. in agricultural economics in 1978.
Political career
From 24 April 2012 to November 18, 2014, he was Minister of Economy, Finances and Budget of Mali. On November 13, 2014 he was assignated Ambassador in Washington, D.C. where he was accredited on November 18, 2014.
Personal life
He is married and has four children.
