Tintype is the debut album from Canadian garage rock band The Pack A.D.. The 17 tracks were released in 2007 on Mint Records. The album is dedicated to Dorothy May Black.

Recording and production

Recorded from June and November–December 2006 at The Sugar Factory Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. Three piano-only, solo instrumental tracks were recorded "on a cheap tape recorder" in guitarist Becky Black's home. Drummer Maya Miller also acted as the album's producer. The tracks were mastered at Hive Studios in Vancouver.
