Timocratica butyrota is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1929. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru.

The wingspan is 9–13 mm for males and 14–17 mm for females. The ground colour of the forewings is white. The underside is golden yellow, fuscous or white along the apex and termen. The hindwings are cream yellow.
