2003: Name Changing and Cooperation
The company changed its name into “time:matters GmbH”. "Special Speed Solutions" was defined as the core content of its business activities. By doing so, the company aimed at further focusing on its main business competence as a service provider for urgent and time-critical shipments.

In the same year, time:matters also started cooperating with Deutsche Bahn in the field of sameday shipments via railway, naming this service “ic:kurier”.

2004: Internationalization
Sameday goes America. time:matters and United Airlines Cargo agree upon an intercontinental partnership. For the first time, sameday services are being offered outside of Europe. time:matters entered the era of intercontinental door-to-door delivery of highly urgent shipments to 39 destinations in the United States.

The expert-center works out customized solutions for urgent logistics problems and looks after the implementation of them. The logistics specialists take care of the entire process chain in order to ensure an optimized process.

2006: First Branch Office Abroad

This enables the shipment of consignments both to and from Switzerland from a minimum 2 hours delivery time, including customs clearance. In the following years, further branch offices are opened throughout Europe and Asia.

2007: Management-Buy-Out and Further International Expansion
Aheim Capital GmbH invests in time:matters, thus becoming its majority stake holder. However, Lufthansa Cargo retains 49% of the company.

time:matters kept its course for growth, focusing on its internationalization strategy. Consequently, the company opened additional offices in Austria, China, Poland, and Sweden. In the following year, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Norway were also being added.

2008: Intercontinental
With the creation of the latest regional headquarters in Singapore, time:matters expands its Service to the Asian-Pacific region.

2009: Jetpak and Sweden

Following the opening of the branch office in Sweden, time:matters is now represented in nine European countries. Additionally, this cooperation lowered the delivery time of shipments to and from remote areas in Scandinavia to just a few hours.
