Timothy Walter Bardsley is a former politician, now lawyer. He was born on October 21, 1954 in Etobicoke, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976 with a B.A with honours. For his legal training, he went to Dalhousie University and graduated from there in 1979. One year later he moved to Calgary, Alberta and became a politician. He was elected to be the Alderman of Ward 7 in 1983, where he worked for 6 years while continuing his job as a lawyer. In the 1989 Alberta general election, he ran unsuccessfully as a Liberal candidate in Calgary-Bow. Later that year, he retired from politics to and devoted more time to his family and his job as a lawyer, which he has been ever since. Until 2007, he worked for Brownlee LLP in Calgary. He has since moved to Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in Calgary and thereafter Dentons.
