Tim Alek Mulley, more commonly known by the stage name Tim Alek, is an American record producer, recording artist and drummer known for his driving ethereal percussion. Mulley is best known for his work as the drummer for post-punk band The Static Age. Prior to that, he was a recording and touring member for high school band Linus (1998), Albany-area band Eros Amore (2002) and most notably New Jersey alternative rock band New Atlantic (2004) with whom he appeared on the Vans Warped Tour. Mulley later filled in as the drummer for New Jersey emo/pop band Tokyo Rose in 2007. In 2008 Mulley discovered his penchant for shaping sound when he began producing and recording bands, including Pontius Pilot Sales Pitch, while on a hiatus from the touring life. He co-produced and appeared as drummer on indie synth pop band Action Action's 2010 release, The Ones Who Get It Are The Ones Who Need Not To Know, which featured the song "A Dream Within a Dream" that appeared in a national Gillette campaign.

Mulley was born in Los Angeles, raised in Windham, New York, and is of Chinese and Dutch ancestry. He is the youngest of three. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he produces music for recording artists and television. His current focus is electronic music production.
