"Tie uuteen päivään" ("Way to a new day") was the Finnish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971, performed in Finnish by Markku Aro & Koivistolaiset (The Koivisto Sisters).

The song was performed seventeenth on the night, following Yugoslavia's Kruno Slabinac with "Tvoj dječak je tužan" and preceding Norway's Hanne Krogh with "Lykken er". At the close of voting, it had received 84 points, placing 8th in a field of 18.

The song deals with the progress of humanity towards "a new day", contending that this is not something to be afraid of.

It was succeeded as Finnish representative at the 1972 contest by Päivi Paunu & Kim Floor with "Muistathan".
