The pygmy (moth) (Thyris fenestrella) is a moth of the Thyrididae family. It is found in central and southern Europe.
The wingspan is 15–20 mm. Adults are on wing from May until mid-August.
The larvae feed on Clematis vitalba, Sambucus nigra, Arctium lappa and are found in July and August. They have two generations a year, hibernating as a chrysalis.
