Throttle Body Motorcycle Club was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1989 and has been called, "The greatest band that never was and still is..."

The club, led by Jerry Hammack (songwriter, producer, engineer, bass, keys, drums, guitars, vocals) includes a revolving door of members ranging from the top of the rock world - Lenny Kravitz alumni Zoro on drums, Vanessa Paradis and Yanni alumni Osama Afifi on bass, The Handsome Family, Freakwater and Stan Ridgway alumni Steven Dorocke on guitar as well as Swallow and Spike alumni, Rod Moody on guitar and Radio National's Aaron Taylor, also on guitar.

Throtttle Body Motorcycle Club has self-released four EP's (AIDS and Language, For the Few, Marley's Chain, Tears in Rain) and one full-length CD (Air Canada) since their inception in 1989.

Work by Throttle Body Motorcycle Club members is part of the permanent collection of the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
