Three Wise Fools is a 1946 film adaptation of Austin Strong's Broadway play of the same name. A young Irish orphan girl (portrayed by Margaret O'Brien) softens the hearts of three hardened old bachelors (played by Lionel Barrymore, Lewis Stone, and Edward Arnold) who were once unsuccessful suitors of her grandmother many years before.
