Thottiyam taluk is a taluk of Tiruchirapalli district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Thottiyam.
Demographics
According to the 2011 census, the taluk of Thottiyam had a population of 135,118 with 67,258 males and 67,860 females. There were 1009 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 67.87. Child population in the age group below 6 was 6,695 Males and 6,178 Females. Manamedu Trichy is located in the taluk.
