Thomas Jacob (journalist)

Thomas Jacob is a prominent journalist who was the editorial director of Malayala Manorama. He is considered as one of the legends in Malayalam newspaper industry. On June 30 2017 he retired from Malayala Manorama after 56 years of service. He was appointed as news editor in manorama at the age of 26. He was also the chairman of Kerala Press Academy. He has won many awards including state government's Swadeshabhimani Kesari Award. Thomas Jacob also coauthored a book Nattuvisesham with Journalist T.Venugopal
