Thomas Cook Retail Limited is a travel agent, owned by the Thomas Cook Group. The company operates branches throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, and employs around 19,000 people.
In 2010, the Thomas Cook Group reached an agreement with The Co-operative Group to merge its branch network with that of The Co-operative Travel. The merger was approved by the Competition Commission in 2011, and the joint venture is 70% owned by the Thomas Cook Group and 30% owned by The Co-operative Group.
