Caramelized pork and eggs thit kho tau
Caramelized Pork and Eggs (Vietnamese: Thịt Kho Tàu, literally translated as Braised Meat in Light Sauce) is a Vietnamese traditional food consisting of marinated pork and boiled eggs braised in coconut juice.

Although it is a normal everyday dish, in southern Vietnam it is one of the traditional foods during Tết (or Vietnamese New Year). Before the dish is served for general consumption, the dish is offered to deceased ancestors or family members on altars.

In Vietnam, rice is commonly served along with the dish.
