Thiago Gomes Pacheco is a Brazilian football coach who works for Sport Club Internacional. He holds an undergraduate degree in Physical Education from Instituto Porto Alegre (IPA), the same university that World Cup champion coach Luis Felipe Scolari attended. He also holds two graduate degrees, one in Soccer Coaching and one in Exercise Physiology, both from Universidade Gama Filho/Instituto Wanderley Luxemburgo. Thiago has been working for S.C. Internacional for over 5 years, working for its player development program, which is ranked number 1 in Brazil, and for its professional team.

Thiago has worked as a coach and conditioning coach for Internacional's U-9, U-10, U-11, U-15, U-17, U-20 and U-23. Since 2009 he has been an assistant coach and a conditioning coach for Internacional's Professional B team. He has helped to develop several top players that went on to play for the Brazilian national team and for several top professional clubs. Players that Thiago has coached and developed include Alexandre Pato (currently at AC Milan), Tales, Juan Jesus (currently at Internazionale), Eduardo Sasha, Leandro Damiao, Joao Paulo Mior, Rodrigo Possebon (currently at Manchester United), Sidnei, Luis Adriano, Taison, among several others.

Thiago also received an athletic scholarship from IPA in two sports: football and track and field. He won a Distinction Sports Award in 2004 from the university. He played football for the youth division team of Gremio, S.C. Internacional's main rival.

In the 2011 season was assistant coach at Atletico Paranaense. Thiago was invited to train the Under-17 category of the Esporte Clube Sao Jose and his team made a season with many victories and so was called to be the coach of the Under-23 National Team Gaucho. Attualmente is the coach of the Under-20 category of the E.C Sao Jose.
