Theodore Charles Trautwein (20 December 1869 – 7 August 1955) was an Australian politician.

He was born in Camperdown in Victoria to Theodore Trautwein and Annie McCarthy. He became a publican, with a hotel at Katoomba and several others. In 1900 he married Katherine Gertrude Elizabeth Kane. He was an independent member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1934 to 1940, when he was bankrupted after a conviction of making false representation with regards to ongoing litigation regarding tax income on betting. He was convicted of contempt of court in 1942. Trautwein's bankruptcy was discharged in 1950 and he died in Sydney in 1955.
