The French Cellar is pioneering the Wine Subscription E-commerce Model into Asia. The company is headquartered in Singapore. The French Cellar customers receive every month curated French wines selected by Nicolas Rebut, former Chef Sommelier of 3-star Michelin Restaurants, Le Meurice in Paris, and Louis XV in Monaco. Wines are delivered with a wine tasting guide explaining the vineyards and wines.
History
The company was founded by Vincent Morello and Eric Joubert. In March 2014, Jackie Lee and Kyosei Ventures joins the team as Founding Members. Jackie Lee is Chairman of the Company. The website was launched the 1st of October 2013 in Singapore and in December 2013 in Hong Kong.
The French Cellar raised $1m in June 2014.
