Schwartzberg then renovated and converted the building into the Champlain Valley Senior Community which opened in 2013. Champlain Valley Senior Community is a new assisted living community that offers a full range of personalized services including delicious meals, entertainment, social activities, health and wellness programs, regional excursions, medication management, 24-hour aid assistance, modern rooms, and transportation to area physicians. The home features modern amenities fused with the classic charm and special character of its historic building. Champlain Valley Senior Community offers studio and one-bedroom apartments featuring original hardwood floors, fourteen foot ceilings, and views of the Boquet River.
