"The Wild One" is a song by Australian rock band Jet featuring American singer Iggy Pop. The song is a tribute to rock and roll legend Johnny O'Keefe. In the 1980s, Iggy Pop had recorded a cover of O'Keefe's songs "Wild One (Real Wild Child)", which was featured on several film soundtracks in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The song was released as a CD single and download on 19 July 2008 and peaked at number 66 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
