The West Wind is Cranston High School West's student-produced newspaper. It features eight issues per school year, one for each month, though September and October are combined into one issue, as well as May and June. The paper is edited and designed using Adobe InDesign.
The West Watch
The West Watch is West's online news broadcast. This particular medium houses stories originally written in the West Wind that are converted into video broadcasts, combining the school's media program's writers and viedographers. Created in 2005, the West Watch received a first place award as best broadcast at the NESPA conference. In addition, it also won several individual achievement awards.
