The Upuaut Project was a scientific exploration of the so-called "air shafts" of the Great Pyramid of Cheops at the Giza Plateau, which was built as a tomb for Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. It was managed by Rudolf Gantenbrink during three campaigns (two in 1992 and one in 1993). It involved sending a miniature mobile robot up the two shafts.

The Upuaut Project was the subject of a television documentary.

The project resulted in the finding of a "sealed block" at the end of the air shaft.

The research at the Great Pyramid is currently continued by the Djedi Project managed by experts of the Leeds University.
