The Tales of Wukong (Chinese: 悟空传) is a 2017 Chinese fantasy-adventure film starring Eddie Peng, Ni Ni, Shawn Yue, Ou Hao and Zheng Shuang. It is based on the novel of the same name, telling the stories of Sun Wukong before he became the Monkey God. Directed by Derek Kwok and produced by Huang Jianxin, the film will premiere on July 13, 2017.
