Analysis

It is characteristica of the work of Lystras, who was one of the patrons of the 1917 Art Group, influenced by expressionism but with less color intensity. The artist uses strong and vivid colors, all blue gray cold on the bottom, all orange-yellow warm at the top. This painting dominates the colors of the basic yellow with complementary purple paint the figure with wide free strokes of thick paint and gestural writing, emphasizing the material color nature.
