The Spider Woman Strikes Back is a 1946 horror film starring Gale Sondergaard. Despite the similar title and role played by Sondergaard, the film is not a sequel to the Sherlock Holmes film, The Spider Woman. In The Spider Woman, Sondergaards character is named Adrea Spedding. This time it is Zenobia Dollard.

A young girl goes to work as a live-in caretaker for a spooky old woman. She doesn't know that every night, the woman drains some blood from her to feed her strange plant.
