Long Thành Cầm Giả Ca is a 2010 Vietnamese film rewritten from Nguyễn Du's poem Long Thành Cầm Giả Ca for the Millennial Anniversary of Hanoi.
Plot
Nguyễn Du meets a musician and they fall in love. But he already has a wife, and doesn't want to take her even when he meets her several times and even has sex with her later. He meets her when she is old, feeling sorry, writes a poem for her, and she jumps into a well that nobody wants to drink the water later.
