The Selection Series is a series of young adult novels written by Kiera Cass.
The series features a rebellious girl named America Singer who accidentally fell into a love contest (a.k.a. the Selection) where the prize is a prince named Maxon Schreave. She must compete against 34 other girls who are all fighting for the prince's love. As time progresses, everything will change. America Singer then goes to win the selection and get Maxon's heart.
It then continues with the fourth and fifth books where Maxon and America's daughter goes through her own selection with 34 boys. She ends up falling in love with Eikko (Erik), who is the translator for Henri (who speaks mostly Finnish), even though it is technically against the rules of the Selection.
