The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian is an action-adventure game released in 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube and the PlayStation 2. The game was developed by Point of View, Inc. and was published by VU Games in North American and Universal Interactive in the PAL region. The game serves as a prequel to the film The Scorpion King, and Dwayne Johnson himself provided the voice for Mathayus, whom he played in the film.

The game was met with generally negative reception upon release. GameRankings and Metacritic gave it a score of 51% and 47 out of 100 for the PlayStation 2 version, and 47% and 49 out of 100 for the GameCube version.
